How should I drain the unit?
Let the unit cool down before draining. Once the unit is stopped and disconnected from the distribution system, it can be drained. Refer the General Arrangement drawing for the position of the drains. Some channels may self-drain via main connections. For some horizontal units installed on trunnion, the unit needs be turned ~90° for complete draining. Ensure that toxic, hazardous, lethal vapor or liquid are not released into the atmosphere or ground.
