How should a hydraulic test be carried out?
A hydraulic test should be carried out with one circuit empty, the other circuit being full & pressurized at the design pressure. The pressure of the circuit in test may decrease due, but it does not mean that the heat exchanger is leaking. Adjust pressure and check again. It should have stabilized after half an hour.
