What is the recommended procedure for chemical cleaning?
The recommended procedure is flushing the unit without removing the covers, using a suitable acidic or alkaline cleaning solution or a hydrocarbon-based solvent. The flow direction should be in the opposite direction of normal flow.
Do not use solutions containing chlorides as they will lead corrosion.
